Welcome the Content Guild, otherwise known as CG, otherwise known as the hottest collection of DAO content talent on the planet.
Content Guild is a DAO-in-process. It started as Tally’s marketing department aka @0xfrisson and @tommylower. But then they had a dream. And their dream was to DAO.
Okay, it was partly selfish. Frisson and Tommy just wanted to use Tally’s product all day and constantly request features from the devs. But, it was also about the fam.
The thing is, Content Guild is about DAO content. And we only work with DAO builders to create DAO content. We simply had to become a DAO and let the community in to help us run things and slowly take over.
We started off with humble origins. We deployed an NFT governor contract, minted governance NFTs for 4 Tally employees, minted contributor NFTs (no voting power), whipped up a Discord for contributors only, and used Tally to do everything transparently.
But then we took more steps towards decentralization. We gave the homies @coolhorsegirl2 and @KylerW56 governance power (whoa 6 governance NFTs now LFG). CG contributors are getting involved in Tally’s content as hosts, creators, producers, editors and curators. Maybe we’re talkin to some more clients who want to join Tally in funding content via Content Guild.
